I have seven years of child care experience. I have been a camp counselor for two summers for the 6 to 12 age groups. I have had a supervisory position at a family-owned child care center working with children, ages newborn to 12. I have been a nanny for two families. I currently baby-sit for over eight families occasionally, and I have also worked as a toddler teacher at Bright Horizons Family Solutions. I have lots of experience working with parents and providing a structured and educational environment for the children where children are having fun and learning every day! : ) I truly enjoy working with children; they brighten up the day. I feel being a nanny and in-home child caregiver is the most rewarding and exciting job. Children are wonderful, and it's exciting to watch them grow while helping them develop and learn new things.
I can provide a thorough resume, as well as references if seriously interested. I also can provide a portfolio showing some of my accomplishments as well as criteria for providing a fun and structured learning curriculum. My hourly rate falls between $15 to $22 per hour, depending on expectations of the family and number of children.
