I am a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in the state of Colorado and have been for two years. I worked as an apprentice in a nursing home and rehab unit for a year where I took care of a minimum of 10 patients at one time. From that experience I learned great patience and time management. I have five years of paid experience working in a home-setting caring for children from ages 6 months to 13 years. I am the first person my aunts, uncles and friends of the family call when they need a sitter. My duties have included, but are not limited to: distributing meals and snacks, monitoring "play time," putting the children down for their naps or bedtime, helping with homework, and running children to after-school programs or athletic games. I have also cared for multiple children over a long period of time; for example, overnight and over the weekend. I have a fairly flexible schedule and just adore children.
