I am 24 and a recent graduate. I have over 12 years of experience in caring for children of various ages, newborn - teen. I have experience working in day cares, summer camps, and one-on-one. I started working with children in sixth grade as a volunteer in a Headstart classroom and have been doing it ever since. I love the innocence that children posses, and I especially love their "tell-it-like-it-is" aspect on life. That is what makes them so fun to be around for there is never a dull moment with a child present! While in college for the last five years, I worked as a nanny for a family in Boulder. I recently graduated and am working with a management company, but am looking to earn some extra income doing what I love! I come from a very large extended family, so I have been around children and babies all my life, and have experienced caring for children at every stage of life. Before becoming a nanny, I worked as a teacher's assistant with CU-Science Discovery's Summer Program. In this program I worked mainly with 4 and 5-year-olds, many who were leaving their parents for the first time. Previous to that, I worked in the infant room at Boulder Day Nursery. I have also baby-sat for various families whenever needed for many years and have been able to enjoy watching their children grow.
