Hello. I am currently working part time for a few different nanny agencies in Denver. I am a mature adult, who is a level headed, well-rounded and outgoing person. I believe in engaging children with games, fun, and crafts, rather than being glued to a television or video game. I prefer working with children in the age group of 2 to 12 years old. At the early stages of child development, you see more of the fine motor and gross motor development. It is fascinating to me, watching them realize more about their capabilities and development, as well as helping parents with this task. During the ages 6 to 12 years old, children are acquiring new skills and interests, friends, as well as developing a new sense of themselves.

While working with many families, I have been able to plan social outings that enrich children's lives, in helping them understand their different methods of learning and developing. We have visited various places, such as the Denver Zoo, Children's Museum, Natural History Museum, Forney Museum, Downtown Aquarium, as well as the library, and park. Many of these activities are geared to the age level of the child, their interests, plus their energy level! It is fun to be creative with play.

I have personal and business references and letters, and hold my American Heart Association Heart Saver Certificate for First Aid and infant, child and adult CPR and AED. I would be glad to do light housework; picking up and washing clothes with light folding. Additional or more in-depth housework or cleaning would be handled as a separate entity. My rates start at $14 to $16 per hour, on a temporary basis, and can go to $18 to $20 per hour, depending on services rendered and number of children. If extensive driving is required, additional mileage cost will be charged, unless utilizing your vehicle. I am available to work for someone on a daily basis (five hour minimum, day assignment; four hour minimum, night assignment; eight to 12 hour maximum), weekly, weekend, overnight, or extended vacation. Should you be looking for some quiet time, maybe a little get-away, couple time, or have a short business trip? I would be interested in talking with you, if should need someone who cares for your children with responsibility, compassion, and loving care.

I am currently certified through the American Heart Association, completing the curriculum of adult First Aid, Environmental Emergencies, Adult/Child CPR with mask, adult/child AED, and infant CPR with mask.

I have experience with special needs, though not extensively.
