I am compassionate, energetic, and extremely interested in education. Working with children has always brought me an abundance of joy, and will continue to be my main focus for many years to come. In the fall of 2006, I graduated from UTD with a degree in general studies. I am certified to teach early childhood through fourth grade. From January 2007 to January 2008, I was a full-time nanny to three girls, ages 4, 6, and 8. Home-schooling was part of my responsibilities during a three-month time frame. While I was in school from 2005 to 2006, I was a part-time nanny for the same three girls. I began baby-sitting a special young boy when he was 6 weeks old. My love for him and his family grew throughout the years, and I was his sole caregiver up until he was 11 years old. To this day, I still have a great relationship with him and his family, occasionally caring for him when his parents are out of town. I also have experience teaching a Sunday school class of 3-year-olds. Right now, I am currently substituting for a school district.
