Michelle G. - Corpus Christi Nanny

Profile of Michelle G.

Part-Time, 10 + Years of Experience

Due to my life experiences and love for children, I desire to work as a nanny in an environment where the child is the main priority. I am the oldest of five children and had the opportunity to help raise my siblings and I am also the mother of a 10-year-old son. I have seen and know the importance of nurturing an infant so that they can grow into a healthy, confident child. I have seen that it is vital to not just physically care for the child but it's also necessary to nurture them with creative activities such as play, story telling, reading, and encouraging positive reinforcements. Personally speaking, I know how hard it is for parents to return back to work especially when the child is an infant. Knowing that they have someone who loves and cares for their child is the number one priority. I believe in making the parents know that they can leave their home and feel absolutely secure and safe that their child is in the right hands. And to help make this happen, I also believe I have to communicate effectively with the parents to ensure their needs as well as trends that take place with their child such as changes in eating, napping or mood. The parents should know what takes place with their child while they are away. In summary, children are special gifts from God and my focus on children is to care for them to the best of my capability.
Related Hobbies and Interests
I love arts and crafts, as well as any activity outdoors. Also I'm a big fan of board and card games.
