Julie M. - Cincinnati Babysitter

Profile of Julie M.

Full-Time, 7 Years of Experience

Since I love kids, I've been baby-sitting regularly as a side job since 2002. During this time, I've also been working full time as a staff accountant at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves, and Savitch, a law firm in San Diego. Unfortunaetly, the law firm recently had two rounds of layoffs. I was laid off and am now available to nanny or baby-sit on a daily basis. I moved home to Cincinnati after living in San Diego for seven years. I have a huge family in Cincinnati and missed my nieces and nephews. Some of the qualities that qualify me to care for your kids are that I'm reliable, fun, creative, not frazzled easily, and heartfelt. Those are the qualities that I take pride in. And, I absolutely loves kids! I have over seven years of experience baby-sitting regularly, spending time playing, going the pool, zoo, and with everything else children love. I will help gear them towards being both respectful and sweet.

While in San Diego, I baby-sat two evenings a week and every weekend. My favorite thing was seeing how excited the children got when I pulled up. They would say, "Julie's here... Julie, Julie, Julie, yeah, we missed you." When their parents came home, they would ask, "Mom, can Julie stay for dinner?" or "When is she coming back?"

I'm both First Aid and CPR certified. As far as why I'm available full time, as mentioned, I was just laid off from a law firm that I worked at as their staff accountant. I have a bachelor's degree in accounting. Since being laid off, I've been focusing on building my traveling notary business. I handle notarizing first purchase and refinance loan docs at borrower's homes, primarily in the evening. I'm a notary in Ohio and Kentucky.
Related Hobbies and Interests
During college, I was a lifeguard and swim coach at Colerain YMCA and taught swim lessons there. During 1995-1998, I coached freshman and sophomore junior varsity at St. Xavier High School.
