When I was younger, I helped my parents out with my three younger siblings. I would play with them and watch over short periods of time. As I grew older, my responsibilities grew and I would pick them up from school, drive them to their various activities and make sure they did whatever they needed to do. I took care of several families around the neighborhood, including young infants of close friends.
One summer, my sister and I created a day camp for toddler and elementary aged children. Throughout the summer we had a range of three to eight children at a time.
I have also volunteered at my church's program for infants and toddlers provided during the services. I play with and cared for up to 10 toddlers and three infants at a time.
During the past school year, I have been watching, playing and working with two little girls, ages three and five. The youngest has autism and I work with her on exercises given to me by her therapists during the various games we play. The 5 year old loves to play make believe and it has been a challenge trying to get them to play together.

I enjoy playing outside with the kids, running around, playing on a swing set or splashing in a baby pool. I like to make cookies, brownies and other fun treats. I have played every sports game on the wii and have been defeated on several other games.
