Nothing is more joyous than to see a child's smile, if I get to be there to help create that smile, my day has been made. I enjoy seeing the young minds of today, create imaginary worlds and spend their days wondering what else is out there to discover. I understand that there has to be a simple language with children, and I always put myself down to their level to talk to them. We play games, read stories, and watch videos. We also spend time either making something with our hands (for example, art pictures, cookies, forts) or doing a little extra with homework, so I have a chance to learn, too! I love when a child teaches me their math problems or how to play a new game. I am also familiar with bedtime routines from brushing teeth to reading books, to saying night time prayers. Children are so much fun to be around and are so creative in all they do!

I enjoy playing soccer and racquetball, and spending as much time outside in the good weather as possible. I have experience with tutoring too, so homework time will not be a problem. It's fun to keep learning what you've forgotten from grade school.
