NEED A BABY SITTER?

Hi, my name is Elizabeth. I am 22 years old. I have four and a half years of experience baby-sitting infants, toddlers, and children up to 13 years old. I live in a very nice neighborhood in a basement apartment with a fenced in backyard. My hours are flexible, including Monday-Friday, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I am not available on Saturday. On Sunday, I am available mornings, afternoons, and early evenings. I can be flexible on Saturday and Sunday, by request. My baby-sitting rates depend on the number of children, the age of the children, the hours needed, if there will be driving involved, and the number of days needed.

I have a 14-month-old. So, I have real life experience with taking care of a child. I help older kids with homework. With infants and toddlers, I like going for walks, listening to classical/kids music, and doing arts and crafts. I have tons of fun toys and books, I love to bake (so do kids), and find that watching kids movies is fun, too. I do have a cat. He is great with babies and children of all ages and he can be put in a secure room, away from kids, until parents are comfortable with the pet. Please contact me so we can talk and hopefully meet.

Two families use me on an as-needed basis, and the other one is an ongoing, daily thing. I have also been a part of the Big Brother/Big Sister program and a mentor program for kids at my college. I have no problem with any type of pet you might have. I can help with homework, drive kids around, and do light cleaning. Just to let you know, I am not CPR certified. However, my mom was a nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, so I know how to do CPR, how to care for cuts and burns, and how to stabilize a broken bone. I have a First Aid kit that has everything you would ever need in it. Just remember, your kids will be safe with me, and that is a fact.
