Hi, are you looking for an extremely patient, compassionate, responsible, dependable, trustworthy, flexible, and loving caregiver for your child or children? If so, you are looking at the right profile. Ever since I graduated from junior high school, nearly every summer or part-time position that I have had has involved youth programs, summer day camps, baby-sitting for many families, and recently, being a part-time nanny. I am passionate about what I do because of my experience and my natural ability to do well connecting with and caring for children. For the past two years, I have been the primary child care provider and part-time nanny for one family who lives on the north side of Chicago, (since their daughter was 18 months old). They did not allow her to watch television or DVDs until recently, and that is still minimal. So, when I am with her, we are usually reading, doing arts and crafts, educational games and puzzles, playing musical instruments, playing at the park, and going on walks, etc. In addition, I also tidy up the kitchen and living room, and their child's bedroom regularly. I also baby-sit for a family in West Town with two young boys who are 2 years old and 4 months old. If I could, I would continue to work for these two families, but I am looking for a family to commit to full time, for at least a year or two, for about 40 to 50 hours a week.
