My experience in child care is baby-sitting, teaching kids 3 to 12 swim lessons, and teaching children ages 1 through 6. English at a bilingual kindergarten in China. Last spring I had to opportunity to teach children English in China and it was one of the best experiences in my life. I absolutely loved the children they were so cute. My class size would range from 3 kids to 15 kids and sometimes it was difficult to control the class, but I definitely learned many valuable lessons about teaching young children. The younger children I would teach them colors, the alphabet, english songs, read them books, and play learning games with them. The older children I would teach them letters and words, and english songs and games.
Teaching Swimming lessons also gave me many valuable experiences teaching kids and learning from them. It takes a lot of patience to work with kids, but it takes even more when the kids are in the water. I love kids and I loved seeing them learn the things that I got to teach them. I also have lots of experience babysitting neighbor's children and cousins over the years. I love getting to know children and spending time with them.

I love to cook and I have also taken many classes in nutrition. I love sports and outdoors recreation. Sports are my passion and I love to run, snowboard and ski. I am first aid certified. I also love to read.
