I have been caring for children since I was 14. I have cared for over 20 children during this time varying in age (newborn to late elementary) and worked at camps with up to 50 kids a week. I am great with kids of all ages, but prefer to work with young children. I also have experience as an overnight camp counselor and medical director so I know the varying needs that children have during the day and night. My most predominate jobs are: I spent two summers in high school as a nanny for three children age 4, 7, and 9; I was the regular baby sitter for a 4-month-old for two years, when the parents were gone for the evening (high school); I spent one summer as an overnight special needs camp counselor (College, 2007); and one summer as a medical director of a camp in West Virginia (College, 2008). When I left Wisconsin for college in West Virginia, I did not perform regular child care duties but have remained active with the families back home and still provide care when I am home for breaks in Wisconsin.
I love working with children. They are so fun and creative that the activity possibilities are endless. Children have such great minds and are so smart that they can teach us a lot about living life. I love the ability to teach them new things, such as how to bake, or learn some words in Spanish. Children amaze me by the way they soak up information. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have Pennsylvania and Federal clearances from my last job and will be willing to supply you a copy if requested. I have my own reliable car. I have no hour restrictions and am free nights and weekends if necessary. I am willing to perform other house hold duties like laundry and cleaning, if desired.

I love to bake, do arts/crafts, read stories with fun voices, play sports, photography, hike/walks, garden, sing, act, and explore imagination. I speak Spanish semi-fluently and would love to teach your children and begin bilingual education.
