I have been in child care or working with children since 2000. In that year I joined an Americorps program called City Year; I served two terms with them. That was the start of my love for children. Continuing on to work with infants, then 2's, up to high school students. My experience with City Year allowed me to understand the different needs of my community and children. "Children our Future" is my quote/philosophy. I cherish children and want them all to have an equal opportunity in life. They deserve hugs, kisses, praise, education, and love. I'm passionate about what I do because I recognize a need and have seen that children respond to the talent that God has given me.
