I have been a stay-at-home mom and worked part time over the past 10 years running a small business. My son is now 8 and attends third grade. I am looking for additional income that allows parent friendly hours.
I have a bachelor's degree in social work with a minor in child and family studies from UNH. I have worked with young children ages birth through preschool as a professional child care provider and a home care provider for multiple families in the past. I also spent three years as a parent educator for Odyssey Family Center prior to working from home.
Since my son has been in school, I have volunteered lots of hours at the school running advanced math groups and leading Junior Great Books group.
I am passionate about sharing nature with young children and love being outdoors exploring the seasons of New England. Indoors, I love working with children exploring art and baking. I believe that a child's work is a day of play and that given the right environment and tools, they will be well prepared for their future.
