I am 21 years old and have just finished my junior year at Simmons College, near the Fenway in Boston. I have been baby-sitting since I was about 9 years old, when my sister was born. My brother was born when I was 12, so I have experience in with children up to age 11. I started doing "mother's helper" around age 10, where the mother would be in the house doing laundry, etc., while I looked after the children. For the past six years I have participated/volunteered with the Open Air Circus, a grassroots circus camp located in my hometown of Somerville, MA. In 9th and 10th grade, I worked as an arts and crafts teacher in the after-school program of Sommerville, for three semesters. My classes ranged from ages 3 to 12. In my senior year in high school, I interned for a month at Park Street School and Park Street Kids, dividing my time between the toddler room and the kindergarten. I love kids. I am very responsible, honest, experienced, and fun; and I would love to take care of yours!
