I have experience working with children in different venues from the age of eleven. I come from a family of four children where I was the second oldest with two younger siblings my mother needed help with. At age eleven, I started babysitting for families in the neighborhood during the summer and on weekends. I have experience with children from 3 months up to preteens tending to up to 4 children at a time. Some children I watched even had developmental disabilities, i.e. autism and Down's Syndrome for example. I am at comfort playing games and being involved with crafts and other activities. I encourage play and positive social interaction but I maintain an appropriate firm manner as to keep order and boundaries. I have a pretty flexible schedule, my own transportation(good driving record), CPR/First Aid certification and excellent references.
