I am a first year graduate student who is looking to work during the day for a loving family who is seeking an experienced, warm, and dedicated nanny. I have worked in a day care/learning center for the past two summers where I worked with infants as well as 2-3-year-olds. I changed, fed, and put the children down for naps. We took the children on walks and read to them daily. We made artwork everyday, played on the playground, and played with the children in centers where they could express themselves creatively. I have also worked at a halfway house where I took care of the women's children while they were at meetings. These children were all under the age of one. I have also worked as a teacher's aid where I helped with homework and ran the after school program with activities such as theater. During my last year of undergraduate school I also volunteered at Easter Seals where I helped run play groups for children and their families with developmental disorders and delays. It is extremely important to me to provide a caring and creative environment for the child. In my previous experiences I have developed wonderful relationships with the children and their families and I look forward to finding that with another family.
