I enjoy child care and tutoring, and also have some pet care experience (cats and dogs). I love working with children, especially infants to age 7. I baby-sat as a teenager, worked as a summer camp instructor and as a conference assistant around children in college, and most recently worked at an elementary school before and after school program while in law school in Iowa City. I tutored in high school (French and German language) and in law school (volunteer tutoring with a middle school student in all core subjects).

Right now, I'm looking for a daytime child care or tutoring position that's in the downtown or Mt. Vernon area. After law school, I'm taking a break from academics, though I may return in the future as a professor. I am passionate about education. I believe that this love of learning translates in my abilities as a tutor and as a baby sitter. I love doing homework with kids, answering all the questions that come up when spending time with a child, and watching childrens' interests develop. I enjoy doing art projects, cooking projects, playing games, etc. I have some experience with infants and toddlers, and do enjoy caring for that age range. I did a safe sitter course as a teen that included child and infant CPR, and I would be happy to renew that training, if necessary.
