I was offered my first baby-sitting job when I was 11 years old. At the time I watched a 4-year-old girl and her 6-month-old brother. I baby-sat them every Friday night for three years, until they moved away. I even got to go on a week long trip with them. Ever since, I have found that I enjoy working with children. No matter where my education or career has taken me. I always end up being friends with people with children and I am always offering to watch their children. I usually end up as "Aunt Char" within a short amount of time. Spending time with children and watching them experience, learn and grow is a reward.
