I grew up in a big family and was always the baby-sitter for family, friends and neighbors. I have been a nanny, lifeguard, property manager, massage therapist, and personal chef. I am the proud mother of a 4-year-old daughter as well. I love to be around children and watch them grow; how they light up upon learning or seeing something new. A little about my past: one morning, before work, I was at the grocery store and was hit as a pedestrian in the parking lot. My whole life changed at that moment. I was sitting on the curb waiting for the ambulance crying not because of all the pain I was in, but rather, thinking, "what if my daughter was with me, or what if it had been worse and she was motherless." I knew I wanted more for her and wanted to spend more time with her. My friend told me about a friend of hers that was looking for a nanny/housekeeper. I contacted her and we had several interviews. I was hired. They had a beautiful 4-month-old son and 3-year-old daughter. I worked for them for two years until her husband got a huge promotion and wanted his wife to stay home with the kids. I moved to Texas working as a nanny/housekeeper, in trade for room and board, along with a few housekeeping jobs. My services came to an end due to the ages of the girls and a change in their mother's circumstances. I am currently working for a family as a nanny, and a personal chef. The mother was just laid off and will now be at home until she finds work again. They were not just a family, we became friends. I am now on the market for a new family. I still take care of him once or twice a week. I would love something part-time to 40 hours a week so I still have time for my daughter. I will be available on occasional weekends and overnights with notice. I look forward to meeting a new family. We are Jehovah's Witnesses and have a Sunday service as well as a weeknight service just so you know for scheduling.

I love to cook, design jewelry, the outdoors, and spending time with my daughter at the zoo, museums, swimming and the park. My favorite time of day is story time with my daughter, when we read together.
