When I was 6 years old, my mother started a gymnastics program for children. Her philosophy is that having fun is the most important thing, not competition; this taught me from a very early age how to inspire kids and engage them in fun activities. I began coaching gymnastics summer camps as early as middle school. I have tons of experience working with children ranging from working gymnastics summer camps, counseling overnight camps, and assisting National Youth Scholar Programs. Babysitting has always been a part of my life, for as long as I can remember; I am the oldest of three children, many cousins, and have always been the neighborhood babysitter. I will graduate from Indiana University next spring and will go through an alternative certification program to become a teacher. I love working with children and learning more about them for use in my future classroom!
