Nathalia S. - Atlanta Nanny
Profile of Nathalia S.
Part-Time, 8 Years of Experience
My name is Nathalia, I am 21 years old. My aim is to teach, play, have fun, and grow with kids. I can describe myself as an open-minded, serene, flexible, loving, honest, responsible, patient, fun, trustworthy, and energetic girl. I love work with kids and I'm able to give my best for your children and work on them development.I have always loved kids, and I became a nanny because to me it is an amazing experience to share the kids' development and also learn with them.
I started working with kids when I was 13 years old in the church that I usually went to. I taught dance to kids of 4 to 8 years old and when I was 16, I started teaching teenagers, age 11 to 15 years old. I taught every Saturday until I moved to USA.
When I was 16 years old, I began working at a day care where my mother is principal. I was a Teaching Assistant and I worked for one year with kids of 1 to 2 years old, and one year and six months with kids of 3 to 4 years old. My responsibilities were to develop activities personal and social and knowledge of their environment, take care of their safety and well-being and also change diapers or potty train and serve meals.
In September of 2007, I moved to United States to work as an Au Pair, improve my experience with children, learn about American culture and improve my English. I lived with an amazing family where I took care of a 9-year-old girl. My responsibilities were to develop activities with her, drop off and pick her up from school, do the child's laundry and meals, help her with homework, supervise play dates, drive to afternoon activities, and babysit her.
Then I moved to live with a family in Alpharetta. There I used to take care of a 3-month-old-baby girl and a 4-year-old girl. We had a great time together and a lot of fun and I could get a great experience with newborn. My responsibilities was take care of well-being of the children, develop activities for them, prepare meals, give bath, change diapers, some light houseclean, also had a lot of fun with learning.
I had a great time with this family, but how I decided started my studies; I needed to take more time for it.
After that, I started working in Alpharetta for a family with three girls, 1, 2 and 4 years old. As a long term position, I could accompany kids' development and teach them some Portuguese. It was a great time. My duties were: to cook kids' meals, do the kids' laundry, wash the dishes, take to and from school, create activities of entertainment and development for the girls, help in potty trained, take to afternoon activities.
In the beginning of the year, I started going to college, so the family couldn't fit on my college schedule. She indicates me to work for her neighbor who was expecting a baby.
In this new family I was responsible for taking care of two girls, 4 months old and 4 years old. I started working for them few months before the baby was born. They are an amazing family and I can say that I felt part of the family. I just stopped working there because the mom stopped working to take of the kids, but I still doing some babysitting for them. My duties were: to cook kids' meals, do the family's laundry, wash the dishes, take to and from school, create activities of entertainment and development for the girls.
I'm current enrolling in Perimeter College.
I'm looking for a long-term position where I could work for at least one year and a great family where I feel like part of the family. I hope that you have learned a little about me.
I would delight to meet you and your family. Feel free to contact me and I hope we can set up an interview.
Sincerely,
Nathalia
