I love spending time with children. I have worked at a camp for eight summers as the director of the theatre, dance, and music program, an aquatics director, the head of the teen mentoring program, and this past summer as assistant camp director. While at camp, I also did one on one work with our special needs campers. I taught individual swim lessons and also, if there was a problem, I was called to aid other instructors in helping with a camper. Additionally, I have also taught in the classroom both here and abroad and I have taught students from ages 6 through 18. I love teaching and get great joy from seeing a child learn new things. I love the free spirit of children, and enjoying playing games and laughing with them.

Writing and reading are two of my passions. I travel and volunteer. This past year I worked in Belize for a volunteer organization. I built a library in a school there. I also went to Ghana and Peru and taught.
