I regularly house-sat for a family in the Cedar Rapids, IA, area. They are business owners and I took care of their three cats, dog, and their infant son, on occasion. When they traveled out of town, I stayed at their home and took care of the pets.

I was a personal assistant to the former president of the Jewelers Financial Services at Zale Corporation. I ran errands, did the banking, filed insurance claims, followed up on deliveries, did personal correspondence, set medical appointments, made travel arrangements, filed reports with appropriate people, met service people at their home. When they traveled, I took them to the airport, and picked them up and transported to their home. I took in and sorted their mail and watched the house, and paid bills that were due before their return. I also took their cars in for service and repair.

As his executive secretary at Zale Corporation, I planned numerous events, arranged travel for incoming guests, prepared hand-outs and minutes for many national meetings, prepared correspondence to legislators. I also prepared all Christmas cards for him and mailed. Picked up prescriptions and mail when needed.
