Hello. My name is Nickie B. I am a 32-year-old proud mother of an almost 4-year-old son. I am a very loving, nurturing, patient, responsible, and trustworthy individual. I've been told that my compassion, intelligence, and strong work ethic are my greatest assets. I've been a nanny for 15 years. I've cared for newborns all the way up to 15-year-olds.
I've also been certified in both children/infant CPR, Neglect and abuse certified, med certified, and First aid. (I worked for a mentally handicap home on and off for 3 years. Where I was always taking any class to learn more about safety.) In addition to that, I also have my substitute teaching license.
I've worked with almost any type of child you could think of, such as: Down Syndrome, Autism, Cytistic Fibrosis, the deaf and blind, ADD/ADHD, mentally handicapped, wheel chair bound. and many others. I love any sport and help many kids practice. I'm extremely organized and take direction very well. I would much rather be outside playing a game or playing on the playground than sitting on the couch watching movies.
Like I said: I do have a 4-year-old son. However, I have brought him to every nanny or babysitting gig I have ever had, and the parents actually enjoy it so their children are socially interacting with other children.
I have always been a natural caregiver and through the years that has remained the same. As an employee, I stay busy, even if the children are not in need of my services. In that case I will do whatever is needed o be done around the house. I have open availability and can start immediately. I have several references and a resume that can be given to you upon request.
