“ My beginning years as an assistant started when I was young. My parents are self-employed and own a successful business. As soon as I could drive (15.5 years), I completed tasks and errands for my father and mother. Whether it was to pick-up orders, mail packages, take personal and business related messages, or clean I was always kept busy.

My beginning years as an assistant started when I was young. My parents are self-employed and own a successful business. As soon as I could drive (15.5 years), I completed tasks and errands for my father and mother. Whether it was to pick-up orders, mail packages, take personal and business related messages, or clean I was always kept busy.

As time progressed I was able to branch out and work for other businesses and companies. A couple of printing presses and floral shops, which skills included: proficient phone edict, clear verbal communication, the ability to make difficult decisions and the capability of managing various computer programs.

I also had the opportunity to work along side my manager/owners (Married couple) for a ballroom dance studio as an instructor/personal assistant. They quickly delegated many of the studio's responsibilities over towards me, some of those expectations included:

* Managed all incoming requests: Customers/students, phone, fax, mail and email
* Composed, proofread and edited letters, flyers, posters and other documents
* Organized and maintained filing system
* Managed office equipment research, purchasing, ordering and pick-up
* Assisted with planning and coordinating business/Dance events
* Responsible for entering and filing all accounts receivable and payable
* Spokesman for the business which included being broadcast live for the Boise news

Out of my years of experience I feel the most important quality I've obtained is the ability to communicate. In working and dealing with businesses today the importance of positive people skills is crucial for building successful relationships. I enjoy working with others, accomplishing tasks and recognizing what needs to be addressed. I look forward to providing my skills and talents in order to become an asset for ones company or business.
