Hi. I am a 19 year-old college student with 6 years experience working with children ages 2-13, and 5 years experience working with children under the age of 2, including newborns.
I also attended a vocational high school, where my trade area was Early Childhood Education. As a result, I also have experience working in licensed child care facilities, as well as having a fairly in depth knowledge of child growth and development. I have my own transportation, with a clean driving record, and am willing to provide transportation for your child to/from school or other activities. My car is currently registered and insured in MA. It was last inspected in May 2010, and passed with no issues. I am available for all hours, including overnights. I am generally available on short notice, and I am willing to care for sick children. I am also usually available to care for children on snow days or school half days, and even that random no school day when you still have to work.
I am mostly looking for part time jobs to complement other part time jobs. I have a high level of commitment to my families, and prefer not to leave families I am already with in search of better offers. I offer this courtesy to every family I work for. If necessary, I can also watch children at my home, but I am not a licensed day care provider. I do however, have space and resources at my home for caring for 1 or 2 children. I have excellent references that I am more than willing to provide if you think we may be a match. I prefer not to post them on here, as I would like to protect my reference's privacy as much as possible.
My rate starts at $8/hour for one child. I look forward to hearing from you.
