Welcome! My Name is Kulaea, and I am a professional caregiver. I have provided care for the elderly for many years. I began taking care of my aunt at home, providing her with basic care needs such as with meals, laundry, medication, and hygiene. I furthered my experience with care giving, when I worked with a nursing home as an Admissions Coordinator, and trained in all areas. I applied for side jobs as a caregiver providing basic care, to the elderly, and was trained by proper management on how to remove patient in and out of bed into wheelchair, changing diapers, light exercising, and support in walking, and feeding patients. I currently work as a private care giver, for the past 5 years. I work 12 hour shifts, and 2 days out of the week I do 24 hour shifts. I am very hard working, reliable, and punctual. Here is a list of some of the things I can provide as a caregiver:
Assist with light exercise, plan and order/make meals, followed by clean up, make bed and change linens, as needed, including laundry, and ironing, housekeeping, dusting and sweeping, assist with bathing, dressing and grooming, take out garbage, provide medication reminders, escort on appointments (hair salon, physical therapy or memory care), companionship, report daily care notes, and report any significant client changes to the family and agency.
I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your time and the opportunity!
Kulaea
