I am looking to assist people, particularly those experiencing a change in lifestyle and/or home situation, due to a move, change in health and/or circumstances. I have just moved here to San Clemente from Florida. I downsized from a three bedroom home to a 500 sq ft apartment. The biggest challenges were deciding what to bring from a lifetime of memories.
I believe this is an emotional task and one that can be done more easily with someone to assist and keep you on task: small completable tasks, as well as someone to sit with you while you go through photographs and memories.
The sorting can be made more simple when I can also scan your photos and memories, take and send pictures of furniture to your family or friends who may want to care for it, and help decide what items to toss/give to charity/ or take with you. I believe my personality is well-suited to assisting with the choices, but not telling you what to do. It is very personal, and most family members will never have the time to do this with a loved one, even though they may want to.
Character references are important and they are available on request, as is a background check which I believe very necessary for this gig.
Please notify me with any questions you may have. My background also includes lots of interior decorating assistance, so I can be valuable in helping you measure, keep and arrange things for your new space so you feel right at home and feel good about your decisions.
