My name is Joanna. I am a mature, very responsible, reliable and fun single mom. I have a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice Administration, although that does not matter for day care; I wanted to mention my college background. I have raised three daughters virtually by myself since they were born. I did it all mother, father, provider, etc. They have grown into three successful college students who live away at college. In the summer they are camp counselors. I was very hands on with their education and growing up and still am even though they are basically adults at this point. I can honestly say I do not have formal Nanny experience but with my experience over the years with raising my own daughters upon running a home I can honestly say I can run circles around one. I also work as a day care provider for a wonderful family, who can give me a reference. I own a home so I maintained it alone while raising my children. I can give references as to my character; a background check can be given. I do not smoke, do not drink, and have a clear driving record. I was an administrative assistant in the business world. I was working nine years and was laid off because of company downsizing in March 2011. Instead of going back into the business world, since I love children and miss the raising of my own I decided to try the avenue of becoming a child care provider/nanny. I can sit with your child and read, take her or him to the library or the park. TV is fun for them but not to an extreme.
