I have been involved in many different aspects of childcare, working with newborns, twins, and children with special needs. My daily responsibilities included taking the children to and from school, doctor's appointments, play dates, camp, sports, and various other activities. I was responsible for providing them with healthy meals, daily baths, naps, housekeeping, help with homework, running errands, and taking care of their dog. In addition, I have spent weekends with the children when the parents went away, and often work nights.
My experiences working with children of various ages have enabled me to develop an excellent ability to be patient, positive, nurturing, and understanding of individual children's needs. I have found my job to be very fulfilling and rewarding, and I enjoy working with children. I am not one to sit in the house, I enjoy bringing them on new "adventures" - the Aquarium, Science Museum, indoor/outdoor playgrounds, parks, ice skating, movies, dinner, hiking, and arts and crafts.
