I have moved to the south Tampa area as of August 15 and I am currently seeking a full-time nanny position in the south Tampa area. I have spent the past 10 years working with children, it is truly my passion and something I am very comfortable doing. I pride myself in the care I give to the children I nanny, as well as, the safety and management of their care. I began my child care experience as a babysitter to children ages birth to 8 years old when I was 13 years of age. I did this for several years and throughout high school. I spent approximately 6 years working for the same family, caring for one little girl. She was a few months old when I began babysitting her and I stayed with her until she was almost 7 years of age. After high school I attended college full-time and continued to pursue child care employment. I worked as a teacher's assistant in a private preschool program, and soon after I was offered a full-time nanny position for the director of the program. I cared for her two children ages 23 months and 7 weeks for approximately two years until she decided to not return to work after her second child. I currently nanny full-time for a family of four children ages 7, 5, 3 and 1 year. I have been with this family for 3 years. On a daily basis the tasks that I perform include any of the following: cleaning, folding, and putting away laundry; preparing breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner for the children and for the family; maintaining organization of house/cleaning; organizing the children's closets (changing clothes for season and size purposes); getting children ready for school and after school activities; driving the children to various activities, as well as, to and from school; in the evening preparing the children for bed by bathing, dressing, and reading them bedtime stories; assisting with homework and engaging the children in developmentally appropriate play activities throughout the day; grocery shopping and shopping for children's clothes as needed. I also go on vacation with the family. I take caring for children very seriously as their care, happiness and safety are my priorities. While in Tampa I will also continue to pursue my Bachelor's Degree.
