I am a very helpful, caring, compassionate, efficient person with a good sense of humor and extremely young-at-heart. I have several years of experience in taking care of my mom and dad before they passed away at age 91. I also did volunteer karaoke at an assisted living home and mingled with the residents and planned special holiday parties with them. I am familiar and have had experience in assisting friends who have had a family member in hospice care. I would sit with them, talk to them, comfort them, pray for them and whatever else was necessary. I am also a grandmother to 4 grandchildren (ages 8-14) and raised 3 children myself. I have been the babysitter for an at-home Bible study this past year and I loved to plan activities, crafts and just old-fashioned fun for the children. I would like to seek positions in caring for the elderly or someone who is disabled and needs assistance in daily living. I also am experienced in housecleaning and work for the end results of a task accomplished. I also am available to babysit part-time, whether days or weekends or while parents have a date night or weekend away. I would love to run errands or be an assistant to someone who needs extra help. I have provided these types of service to my daughter who always has many projects going and finds herself in need of assistance.
