Most of all, I think there are many qualities an ideal planner should have - however the most important to me are listening and understanding. Anyone can tell you theories, thoughts and ideas on parenting. It is important to have a planner who will listen to the expectant parents and truly hear what it is they need, and then take that information and combine it with understanding. The understanding comes from taking the knowledge as a baby planner and translating that to serve the clients best.
