I'm a compassionate, loving, kind and reliable caregiver. I've been a caregiver for 10 years. I have a good referrals, I'm certified and licensed too. I provide activities in daily life such as bathing, dressing, oral care, shaving, grooming and perennial care. I got a lot of experiences in almost all cases such as; dementia/Alzheimer's, stroke, cancer, diabetic, COPD patients, even patients with a colostomy bag. I also do light housekeeping, light laundry, provide and prepare healthy meals. I can also do medication reminder, encourage-elderly to participate on social activities, exercises, playing games and others that companionship requires. For dementia/Alzheimer's I got a lot of activities that we can work together to encourage them to be more active and be social. Such activities are doing some art works, baking make some cookies or treats, puzzle game, scrabble, bingo, playing cards, looking back some pictures in the album and reminisce the past and other things that the elderly love to do before. As far as meals, I'm very conscious on what type of elderly I have, so I make sure I will prepare a healthy one. If for example, if she has a heart problem or stroke, patient food should be in low sodium, and no salt at all. I can also do the calendar if it means arrange some appointments, shopping, doctors appointment, hair and nail salon and others.
