I am dedicated to being trustworthy, compassionate, loving, and spirited! Also, I am CPR and First Aid certified. I do not just supervise children while caring for them. Babies are held, cuddled, and sang to. Toddlers and I have a fantastic time together participating in various activities, playing, and spending some time to stimulate their learning abilities.
A few years ago, I attended a class on educational activities for children 2-10. If the parents would like, I will have numerous books in order to teach ABC's, numbers, shapes, colors, and foreign language (this is done with the Muzzy program) etc. I will also read stories, and watch an educational child DVD, as I would love to assist them with their entrance to kindergarten and in all school work.
I have many books for all ages of kids. I love to read to my kids and would do the same with anybody kids. I have The Neverending Story, Little Women, Hans Christian Andersen, and many more.
I have a lot of play for inside other than TV. I have a puppet theater, I have a bounce house, ball pit, play house and kitchen and a lots of dress up stuff. I have lot of fun games too. For outside I have a club house, swing set, trampoline, and a pool if you want swim lessons, lots of riding toys, and balls of all types. I have a basketball hoop and soccer nets. I do have some movies for older kids if they want a break. I have a lot of Disney movies, DreamWorks, Sesame Street, wiggles, Barbie, Lorax, Barney, Dora, Muppet, Kung Fu Panda, SpongeBob, Madagascar, Shrek, and Muzzy. I like to eat right at my home, so I have lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. I have a lot of whole grains and wheat. Lots of sugar-free stuff too, I do have some candy and sweets as well.
In addition I love to go to the park or zoo. I have a pass for the zoo, this is the place, Thanksgiving Point, Discovery Gateway, Natural History Museum of Utah, The Living Planet Aquarium. I have the Muzzy learning system, ABC mouse on my kids PC for them to learn Nick Jr. Boost, and Team Umizoomi Preschool Math Kit. I'm always adding to my educational stuff.
I have provided childcare for numerous children primarily under the age of 10. I also worked at a Girl Scout camp for four summers and a Boy Scout camp for one summer. I still work with the Girl Scouts now. I am always excited having the opportunity to spend time with them. Of course their parents' preferences are number one. I would be most happy to come and meet the parents and children just to talk and discuss your wishes.
