I have always enjoyed serving others, whether it's children, adults, or elderly. As a teenager, I was active in my youth group during middle-school/high-school, volunteering and serving the community and mission trips. Through college I cared for three elementary school aged children - one who has cerebral palsy and the most contagious joy. My last position, I worked at a residential home with children; I was basically a "mom" in a home for up to 10 teenage girls, but also cared for boys and girls elementary through teenage. I loved my job but was ready for a more stable schedule. I am CPR/first aid certified and have lots of training in the social work field. I also have a passion for animals! Through high school I volunteered at a local humane society and earned a scholarship based on volunteer experience! The last two years of college I worked as a veterinarian assistant. With a wide range of experience, I am available for child care or pet care.
