I am familiar with lifting, feeding, showering, cooking, cleaning, transporting, etc. In addition to working with persons with DD, a lot of the residents were seniors and were able to make most decisions on their own. I enjoyed working with these individuals because they are usually pleasant and up beat, which makes my job all worth it.
