Au Pair Care is the leading au pair agency providing live-in childcare services to American families since 1989. Designated by the U. S. Department of State,
Au Pair Care offers superior childcare to fit your family's unique needs.
What is Au Pair Childcare?
An au pair is a young adult from another country who lives with your family and provides in-home childcare. Au pairs work up to 45 hours per week, in exchange for the opportunity to live with an American family. Because au pairs provide live-in childcare, they offer more flexibility and can care for your child at times that accommodate your family's schedule.
The Standard Program
Au Pair Care's standard au pair program is a year-long experience, combining dedicated au pair childcare and cultural exchange. Au pairs provide up to 45 hours of care per week, not to exceed 10 hours per day. Hours are flexible, so you can work with your au pair to create a schedule to accommodate your family's needs
Infant Specialized Au Pair Program
The first year of a child's life is an amazing time of growth and is the building block for future stages of development. Au Pair Care's unique Infant Specialized Care Program provides families with infants with a trained au pair who specializes in infant care giving and development. Infant Specialized au pairs have considerable interest and experience caring for infants and have at least 200 documented hours of childcare experience with infants and children under two.

When we do pre-screen, what do we look for?
During the pre-screening process our CareForce team:
- Verifies profile information for accuracy
- Cross checks the Better Business Bureau for accreditation and reputation ratings
- Conducts an online media search for negative, newsworthy incidents
- Performs an overall reputation check by reading a sample of online reviews
Please note that the CareForce pre-screening results do not reflect a care provider's licensing status.
