About this program
They have policies to help with behavior modification but do not follow them. I admit that my child is a rambunctious child and needs lots of redirection to stay out of trouble However, in their policies they state that they will work with the parent and child to come up with a plan. This is not the case, My child was asked to leave the program without these actions happening, within a few weeks of him starting. Leaving me in a bind to find care as well as not returning my calls nor refunding my money as they are the ones who requested that my child not come back.
The staff is not educated in current developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood programs. They use a color indicator as to children's behavior and it seemed that there was no way to earn back up to green. I came in to pick up my child a few times in the afternoon to see all the children lined up on the wall outside and yet no explanation was offered to me when I asked why they were doing that. There seemed to be no communication between the morning staff and those in the afternoon as I tried to help in suggestions that might make the transition for my child and them easier and the information was not relayed.
I would prefer to give them no stars however that is not an option if you want to place a review. Normally I would never give a bad review However I feel that in programs that deal with children a person needs to have as much information as possible when finding a place for your little ones to attend while you are working.
Also I noted in yellow pages.com that there was a negative review for them and when I tried to locate it again just to reread it seems that it was deleted.
