When we do pre-screen, what do we look for?
During the pre-screening process our CareForce team:
- Verifies profile information for accuracy
- Cross checks the Better Business Bureau for accreditation and reputation ratings
- Conducts an online media search for negative, newsworthy incidents
- Performs an overall reputation check by reading a sample of online reviews
Please note that the CareForce pre-screening results do not reflect a care provider's licensing status. Learn more about licensing information for child care centers and in-home day cares
Information reviewed during the pre-screening process can change at any time. Accordingly, please make sure you perform your own research on the care providers you are considering and feel completely comfortable with the company or individual you have selected. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for selecting an appropriate care provider for you and your family.
About this program
Reviews

The infant/nursery program was wonderful. The ratios are kept low so she got held a lot and was paid a lot of attention by the staff. The facility is clean and welcoming. The staff is great at keeping the babies on schedule and are great at working with you on any issues -- for instance, they were wonderful on helping me work with our little non-sleeper, and worked with us on our sleep-training method of choice so that it would be consistent both there and at home. From an early age, the teachers made sure to expose her to songs, books, and large and small motor skills to challenge her and help her develop. She was talking pretty early for her age and by the end of her time in the nursery, she was coming home counting, and singing her ABCs and various other songs she had learned in daycare. They also do a good introduction to art with coloring, finger painting, etc. The little ones have their own outdoor play area with age-appropriate toys, infant swings, and smaller sized playground equipment.
My daughter is now in the toddler room, and that was a smooth transition, as well. The teachers were great in helping her take steps up there, as well -- from continuing to perfect eating with utensils, to patient but persistent help with potty training. My daughter was potty trained in one week! It was amazing. The toddler room has a fun curriulum with themes, age-appropriate lessons, daily art projects, as well as a "circle time" for learning activities and music. There is still some time reserved to just play and be a kid, too, which I think is great. The toddlers also use the smaller, age-appropriate playground and on rainy days, they get to play in an indoor play area called the "muscle room" that has indoor tricycles, climbing areas, etc., so that they get plenty of exercise.
Both the director and the teachers are a joy. The director knows each child and parent by name. They offer lots of fun extras for the kids, including extra activities and events. The facility has a small wading pool that is open in the summer on warm days. Even the toddlers get to go in, with extra supervision! My daughter loves that! Today, they brought in a petting zoo and the kids got to pet and feed animals, and go on pony rides. I know that the older kids go on a lot of fun field trips. They regularly do fun things like cooking (they made ice cream this week), holiday parties, etc. They are always have a great time as they learn!
We are very happy with Alphabet Kids and highly recommend it!
