Acti-Kare has been a godsend for me and my family.
When I realized my dying 96 year old father and frail 84 year old mother needed extra help, because I had to be out of the country for 3 weeks, I had mere days to find help and put it into action. Not only did Acti-Kare find someone for the whole time at a moment's notice, but the helper was of utmost integrity with a compassionate and caring demeanor. This employee easily worked side by side with other family members, other helpers and Hosparus. She skillfully and lovingly supported my father as he transitioned closer toward death.
My parents felt safe and well taken care of. My family and I never worried. Acti-Kare employees are like family. What a pleasant experience!
At present we are using their services again and as I expected, things are going well. This particular stint has presented quite a need for flexibility in regard to the amount of hours we originally thought we needed them and sure enough, Acti-Kare stepped right up and made everything work seamlessly. This has been another pleasant experience.!
Kudos and two thumbs up to this well run, competent, caring organization. They come with my highest recommendation!!

Acti-Kare of Louisville provided a fantastic caregiver for my aunt when she wanted to stay in her home, rather than go into a nursing home. Kim became part of our family. We could not have chosen a better companion for Aunt Charlene. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for excellent care for their loved one! Thanks Acti-Kare!

I have found that the administration and staff of Acti-Kare of Louisville are all very professional, caring and lovely people. They have been helping us with my 85 year old mother in her home for the last 7 months or so.
They have been great to her and for her during this transitional care time in her life. The communication level is wonderful for me and has reduced a huge amount of anxiety for me.
I would recommend them highly to anyone that is looking for home help for an aging parent or loved one!
